“Gran Mendoza” is an urban agglomeration made up of the districts of Ciudad de Mendoza, Godoy Cruz, Las Heras, Guaymallén, Maipú and Luján de Cuyo.
The city is characterized by its wide streets with trees that draw tunnels, kilometers of ditches that transport the water from the rivers of the mountains and its beautiful squares, walks and green spaces ideal for enjoying the outdoors.
Mendoza's cultural activity is active, diverse and attractive. Museums, art spaces, theaters, houses and architecture with history make up a wide proposal for those who want to know the province in depth.
Mendoza is also the heart of the Argentine wine-growing area and the people of Mendoza pay tribute to it every year during the months of January and February with departmental festivals and culminating on the first weekend of March with the maximum celebration, the “Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia” which takes place at the Frank Romero Day Greek Theater.
