Gastronomy: Buenos Aires is an incredible city for eating out, offering a mix of traditional local cuisine and food from all over the region and the world. The Buenos Aires International Festival brings some of the most exciting theatre in the region to the city's venues, and to the streets themselves, and throughout February the city streets come alive to the sound of carnival as 100 carnival troupes present their music and dance in parades in the different neighbourhoods.
One tip for theatre fans: all year round, from Tuesday to Saturday tickets for selected theatres are offered at a 50% discount from the Tickets BA box office at the intersection of Corrientes and Cerrito.

What’s new: We all love taking pictures of ourselves on our travels, and so the city has taken steps to ensure visitors can get the best shots, erecting steps facing the iconic obelisk and at the newly inaugurated Paseo del Bajo park, so that you can get the perfect angle for a fantastic photo souvenir.
