El Calafate awaits you!
Leave your bags safe in El Calafate and make the most of your trip 😎
The land of glaciers presents, in addition to the charm and majesty of the most beautiful and impressive blocks of ice in the world, a city full of life and surprises.
This town is an access area to a multitude of ice mountains that make up Los Glaciares National Park, and that make it a privileged site in Argentina and the world. So much so that in 1981 UNESCO declared this entire Park "World Heritage".
From El Calafate to the Perito Moreno Glacier, there is a distance of 80 km in which the Patagonian steppe is crossed, passing later to the entrance of the National Park, where the Magellanic forest can be observed.
The Perito Moreno is one of the many glaciers that form the Los Glaciares National Park. They all form the Patagonian Continental Ice (17,000 kilometers long). This mass of ice moves and attracts countless tourists with its movements, its detachments and the dynamics of its unexpected and captivating breaks.
